    Individuals or organizations that have contributed significantly to the promotion of peace outlined in the Peace Mission affirmed by the Sunhak Peace Prize Committee

    The achievements of the individual or organization must have had a positive impact on the realization of peace for people of diverse nations, races, religions, or ideologies.

    In the case of an individual, the nominee must be living at the time of nomination.

Laureate Selection and Official Announcement

After careful review of the nominees on the short list, the Sunhak Peace Prize Committee makes the final selection and makes an official announcement through the media.

Review Process

The Sunhak Peace Prize Committee carefully reviews the nominees with support from the Secretariat and in consultation with experts to come up with a short list of the most promising candidates. The Committee meets periodically throughout the year for this purpose.

Download the ‘Nomination Form’ below and send it by e-mail, postal mail or submit through the ‘Online Nomination Form’.

When sending a nomination, please send supporting material of the candidate’s achievements.

Documents received will not be returned. For all important documents and supporting material, please submit copies rather than the originals.

The nominator may only make one nomination, either of an individual or organization.

Sunhak Peace Prize

Future generations refer not only to our own physical descendants
but also to all future generations to come.

Since all decisions made by the current generation will either positively
or negatively affect them, we must take responsibility for our actions.
