Business leaders recognized include Dr. Daniel McKorley, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, and Patricia Obo-Nai. In entertainment and sports, honorees include Diana Hamilton, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Mohammed Kudus.

Prince Akpah, Founder and Managing Director of Avance Media, stated in conjunction with the announcement:
“The Top 100 Ghanaians Powerlist represents our editorial assessment of the most influential Ghanaians. It goes beyond titles to examine influence, impact, and relevance—recognizing those who exercise leadership, shape narratives, and possess the power to drive change. The Powerlist is also designed to document how power is exercised within Ghana’s evolving society, while inspiring national reflection on leadership and accountability.”
Selections for the Powerlist were based on five key criteria: influence; leadership and authority; measurable achievements; relevance within the year under review; and public visibility and accountability.
